Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has placed a ban on transfers and postings in the province. According to a notification, the Chief Minister has imposed a complete halt on any kind of transfers or postings with immediate effect, until further notice.
According to the notification issued, the Chief Minister Punjab has imposed a complete ban on all kinds of transfers/postings with immediate effect, till further orders.
However, in cases of extreme hardship, compassion, or administrative necessity requiring a transfer or posting, prior approval must be obtained from the Chief Minister through a detailed summary outlining the officer’s tenure and vacancy position.
