Pakistan Railway Increases in Train Fares 2022

A notification has been issued on 14 June 2022 in connection with the increase in Train Fares 2022 by the Pakistan railway. Further detail of said notification in same is as under;

Pakistan Railway Increases in Train Fares 2022

It is notified for the information and guidance of all concerned that the fares have been increased for all Mail/Express, Intercity trains, and Saloons with effect from 17th June 2022 till further orders. Director / IT is requested to implement the 10% class/train wise increase in all Mail/Express and Intercity trains on advance reservation.

The Divisional Superintendents are requested to implement the updated Fare Table enforced with effect from 17th June 2022 at all concerned stations & booking/reservation offices accordingly. The Fare Table will be available on the PR website. The fare will be rounded off accordingly to letter No.2-M&R/8029/Rates issued by this office on 01-03-2019.

It is requested to repeat the above instructions to all booking and reservation offices as well as at stations to ensure compliance accordingly.

If any discrepancy is noticed by the concerned station/commercial staff, it should be reported to the office of CMM as well as the Director/ IT through concerned DCOs within 7 days. In case of non-reporting of any noticed discrepancy, the concerned staff shall be held responsible.
