Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Launch Date and Specs Leaked

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series, comprising the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, is expected to be unveiled at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for January 17, 2024. Here’s a summary of the leaked specifications for these models:

  • Display: All models feature Dynamic AMOLED 2x screens with a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits. The Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution, the S24+ a 6.7-inch screen, and the S24 Ultra a 6.8-inch screen, both with QHD+ resolution.
  • Processor: The Galaxy S24 and S24+ will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in Canada and the US, and the Exynos 2400 processor in other regions. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will exclusively use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 globally.
  • Camera: The Galaxy S24 and S24+ will reportedly feature a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP selfie camera. The S24 Ultra will have a 200MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
  • RAM and Storage: The Galaxy S24 will have 8GB of RAM and come in 128GB and 256GB storage options. The S24+ and S24 Ultra will have 12GB of RAM, with the S24+ available in 256GB and 512GB versions, and the S24 Ultra in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants.
  • Battery and Charging: The Galaxy S24 will have a 4,000mAh battery, the S24+ a 4,900mAh battery, and the S24 Ultra a 5,000mAh battery. All models will support 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. The S24 offers 25W fast wired charging, while the S24+ and S24 Ultra support 45W fast wired charging.
  • Colors: The Galaxy S24 and S24+ will be available in Amber Yellow, Cobalt Violet, Marble Gray, and Onyx Black. The S24 Ultra will come in four colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow.

Additionally, the Galaxy S24 series is expected to include AI and Generative AI features, possibly as an alternative to technologies like ChatGPT and Google Bard.
