CLOSURE OF ALL PUBLIC & PRIVATE COLLEGES IN LAHORE DUE TO SMOG | HED Punjab

A notification has been issued on 23rd November 2021 in connection with the closure of all Public & Private colleges in Lahore due to smog by the Higher Education Department. Further detail of said notification in same is as under;

CLOSURE OF ALL PUBLIC & PRIVATE COLLEGES IN LAHORE DUE TO SMOG

NO.S.0(A-11D-1/2001. In compliance with the Order issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority vide Notification No.Smog-2020/174/Coord-II, dated 22.11.2021, It Is hereby intimated that all public and private sector colleges in the territorial jurisdiction of the Lahore Metropolitan Corporation shall remain closed every Saturday and Monday, in addition to the weekly holiday on Sunday, from 27.11.2021 till as owing to the current deterioration in Air Quality Index(AQI) in the city. However, lectures/classwork shall be conducted online on Mondays and Saturdays to facilitate students.
