A notification has been issued on 04th September 2021 in connection with the closure of Medical & Nursing Schools / Colleges in Punjab w.e.f 04 September 2021 to 11 September 2021 by Govt. of Punjab Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department. Further detail of said notification in same is as under;
Closure of Medical & Nursing Schools / Colleges
All the public and private Medical Universities/ Colleges, Dental Colleges, Nursing Schools/Colleges, paramedics. like Health Sciences Schools/Colleges Iotated in following 15 districts shall remain closed from 4th September to 12. September 2021:
List of Districts
- Rawalpindi,
- Gujrat
- Gujramvala.
- Sheikhupura,
- Sialkot,
- Lahoroe
- Faisalabad,
- Sargodha,
- Khushab,
- Mianwali
- Bhakkar,
- Khanewal,
- Multan
- Rahawalpur
- Rahlm Yar Khan
The staff and faculty of these institutions involved in clinical duties/ medical cover shall remain on duty. The decision to relieve faculty and/or another stall, not involved in clinical duties, may be taken by the concern. Vice-Chancellor/Principal.
- No sports/ cufturaV other event should be held in the pudic and Private Medical Colleges, De. Colleges, Nursing Schools/Colleges, Paramedical /Allied Health Sciences Schools/Cokges till further orders.
- The concerned Vice Chancellors/Principah shall ensure COVID 19 vaccination of all !he leaching/ non•leaching staff and students of medical and dental colleges.
- Institutions in remaining districts shall follow staggered attendance schedule.
- The Vice Chancellor. University of Health Sciences, Lahore shall ensure
implementation of these instructions by all the affiliated Private sector Medical and Dental Colleges In Punjab.
