A press release has been issued on 09 February 2022 regarding the Increase in Salary as Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) 2022 @ 15% for Federal Government employees by Finance Division. Further detail of said release in same is as under;

Disparity Reduction Allowance @ 15% (DRA) 2022 | Increase in Salary

The Government of Pakistan has decided to grant a 15% Disparity Allowance on current or running basic pay for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-19. The Government has recommended the same package for all province employees too.

Time Scale Promotion:

For the employees stuck in the same pay scale for long, the Government has initiated the process of time scale for the employees. The purpose of the same is to remove the hardships of the employees.

Upgradation of Posts

The employees one of the main demands was the up-gradation of posts. In this regard, the Finance Division will take action on the findings of the MS Wing of Establishment Division. The process will be complete by the end of April 2022. The employees will get up-gradation as per the pattern of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Merging of Adhoc Allowances

The utmost necessary demand of the employees was the merging of all Adhoc relief allowances into basic pay. The Finance Division is waiting for the report of pay and pension commission. The FD will merge the Adhoc relief allowances as per the agreement between employees and Govt.
