A notification has been issued on 13-05-2022 in connection with instructions for schools for sever heat wave in next coming week in Punjab by School Education Department,Govt.of Punjab Lahore.Further detail of said notification in same is as under;
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCHOOLS FOR SEVERE HEAT WAVE PUNJAB 2022
Kindly find attached herewith a copy of letters No. CR-300/2022 dated 13-05-2022 and No. SO(EP&C)6-5/2022 dated 13-05-2022, received from Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab. containing guidelines / measures to be taken in the wake of expected intense heat wave in the coming days in the country (copy attached).
2.You are requested to disseminate directions to lower formation / District supervisory staff and Heads of schools to follow the guidelines as issued by the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department & PDMA Punjab and awareness be given to students during daily class lectures so as to avoid surge in cases and control any outbreak. Action taken in this regard, may be communicated to this office for information of the Competent Authority.
