Notification of Purchase of Water Cooler with Water Filter | SED Punjab

A notification has been issued on 26th January 2022 in connection with the purchase of a Water Cooler with a Water Filter by The Programme Monitoring & Implementation Unit PESRP Government of Punjab. Further detail of said notification in same is as under;

It is in your good notice that Govt. of Punjab with the collaboration of Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO); formally known as DFID, intends to provide electric water cooler along with water filter to the recently upgraded Govt. Girls Primary Schools under Insaaf Afternoon Schools Programme across Punjab.

In the light of the above, the funds have already been released to the concerned School Council through the concerned Chief Executive Officers, DEAs, along with the specifications of the electric water cooler with the directions to ensure timely and transparent procurement of the said item.

However, during the visit reports of the provincial level committee. It has been observed that some of the schools are not observing the codal formalities i.e. deducting of sales tax, cncorretax, etc. as well as the said specifications for the procurement of the said item. Therefore, it is directed/advised to observe the rules and ensure the approved specification in the procurement of the said item, and payment may not be made prior to the satisfactory report of the provincial technical committee.
