A notification has been issued on 06th December 2021 in connection with the Recitation of Darood Shareef in all Public / Private Schools by the School Education Department, Govt. of Punjab Lahore. Further detail of said notification in same is as under;

Kindly find attached herewith a copy of the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister’s directive bearing No. AS(Estab)/CM0/21/0T-47/0050029 dated 24-11-2021, received through l&C Wing, S&GAD’s vide letter No. SO(FG-1)3-123/2021 dated 25-11-2021, on the subject, whereby it has been directed to observe the following instructions during morning assembly before National Anthem in all schools:-
- Recitation of any Surah from Quran-e-Hakeem
- Recitation of Darood Shareef (Darood-e-lbrahimi)
- Prayer for progress and prosperity of Pakistan
You are, therefore, requested to pass on necessary directions to lower formation/heads of all schools (public/private) to ensure compliance with the above-mentioned instructions, in true letter & spirit, as directed by the Authority.
