Accountant General Punjab seeking clarification from Finance Department, Government of Punjab regarding pending pension cases due to amendment in Punjab Civil Servant Ordinance 2021. Further detail of said notification in same is as under;
PENDING PENSION / RETIREMENT CASES LESS THAN 55 YEARS OF AGE
It is requested by the AG Punjab office that an audit copy of the notification published in the Punjab Gazette bearing No.Legis:13-20/2002(P-I) dated 03.05.2021 and No.PAP/Legis-2(119)/2021/2523 dated 04.05.2021 subjected Punjab Civil Servants (Amendment) Ordinance. 2021, maybe provided for reference and record. There are voluntary retirement cases having 25 years of qualifying service but less than 55 years of age that are received and pending for payment relying upon the notification.
