SUGGESTIONS FOR AMENDMENTS IN SERVICE RULES,2014
Kindly refer to Government of Punjab, School Education Department letter No SO (SE-Ill) 5-53/2020 dated 25.08.2021 (Annexure-A) and DO (M)/MISC/2021 dated 12.10.2021 (Annexure-B) on the subject cited above.

- It is submitted that in the light of the above letters of the School Education Department. it was directed to prepare the draft of recruitment Rules for administrative / teaching staff.
- These proposed amendments in service Rules -2014 have been discussed at length with all stakeholders/representatives of teachers in the presence of DPI (SE) & DPI (EE). All have shown satisfaction upon proposed amendments in service Rules 2014 .
- It is further submitted that all the amendments proposed to revise in service Rule 2014 have been prepared keeping in view that through these amendments all categories of teachers will be provided equal chances of promotion in their respective cadres. Moreover new selections of teachers through initial recruitment will also be effective to uplift the quality education under revised / amended service Rules 2014.
- A copy of proposed draft / amendment in service Rule 2014 is annexed al (Annexure-C). Submitted for kind perusal and for submission before service Rule ommittee for the approval.
