All Public & Private Schools of Punjab to remain closed for winter vacation starting December 23rd, 2021 to January 6th, 2022. Please get vaccinated and follow SOPs issued by the government.
Previously
A meeting of all education secretaries from all provinces of Pakistan was held today i.e 14-12-2021 to discuss the duration and timing of the winter vacations and other issues related to NCOC under the supervision of the Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Akram. In this meeting, It was suggested to close the educational institution on account of winter vacations from December 25, 2021, to January 5, 2022. However, due to the absence of education ministers no final decision was made.
The meeting, presided over by the Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Education Wajeeha Akram, also reviewed reforms in the provincial education system and also considered a proposal to shift the winter break to January.

In this regard, the Sindh Govt has already issued a notification in connection with the winter vacations from December 20 to January 01. Further final decision about a winter vacation in all provinces of Pakistan will be finalized on 15-12-2021 as no final decision has been made today due to the absence of one Education Minister.
