Free SMS Service to find the Details of Voter Registration

A notification has been issued on 19th November 2021 in connection with Free SMS Service to find the Details of Voter Registration regarding PERIODICAL REVISION OF ELECTORAL ROLLS 2021-2022 by the Election Commission of Pakistan. Further detail of said notification in same is as under;

8300 SMS SERVICE

Please type any CNIC without Hyphen (-) and spaces on your mobile and send it to 8300, you will get an updated voter record.

Note: Please try this service after 1 or 2 days, as this request has been made by ECP to PTA, it will take a little bit of time to implement.

Free SMS Service to find the Details of Voter Registration

I am directed to say that the door-to-door verification process relating to Periodical Revision of Electoral Rolls 2021-22 is in progress, during that exercise, verifying officials are facing difficulty in tracing out the voters in the draft electoral roll, therefore they use 8300 SMS to find the details of voter registration. In addition to the above, the service of 8300 is also expected to be used by the vast majority of voters during the said verification process

2. Keeping in view the said challenges faced by the Verifying Officials in the field and the general public, the Hon’ble Commission has directed to make SMS 8300 service as free of charge with immediate effect till 15-12-2021.

3. It is, therefore, requested to take necessary measures to make aforesaid 8300 services free of cost across the country in compliance with the directions of the Hon’ble Election Commission of Pakistan.
