REVISED MINUTES OF THE MEETING ON CONDUCT OF SPECIAL EXMAINATIONS 2021

The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons in its meeting dated 25-10-2021, in continuation of earlier PBCC meetings dated 23-10-2021 and 15-10-2021, vide agenda regarding conduct of Special Examinations 2021, subsequent to the SSC andHSSC(Annual) Examinations2021heldunderthe Promotion Policy 2021, decided that:

  • Those candidates of SSC and HSSC (Part-II) Annual Examinations 2021 who were absent in the examination may appear in the Special Examination 2021.
  • Those candidates of SSC and HSSC (Part-II) Annual Examinations 2021 who do not accept the award of 33% passing marks in failed subject or subjects may appear in the Special Examination 2021.
  • Those students whose admission forms for SSC and HSSC Annual Examinations 2021 were not forwarded by their institutionsdue to shortage of attendance, the admission forms of such students/candidates shall be entertained and they may appear in the Special Examination 2021 as regular candidates.
  • Those candidates of SSC and HSSC who opt to appear for improvement of marks in Part-II, Part-I & Part-II (both), or subject-wise, except in compulsory subject(s), may appear in the Special Examination 2021. However, Special Examination will be conducted in elective subjects of Part-II only, and their result will be re-calculated upon improvement as per Promotion Policy 2021.
  • Candidates may appear in additional subject (s) in the Special Examination 2021.
  • Candidates having the last chance up to Supplementary Examination 2021 may appear in the Special Examination 2021.
