Recently, a statement claiming to be from the Punjab Higher Education Department has been making rounds on social media platforms. It suggests an extension of the winter vacation period until January 14 for all educational institutions, both private and public, in Punjab.
The statement allegedly issued by the Punjab Higher Education Department indicates that “All colleges, including both public and private institutions, are scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Upon reopening, they will resume a standard full-week schedule for all classes.” There is no extension in winter holidays in collges and Universities in Punjab yet.So don’t rely on these rumours and prepare yourself to go to College / University as per previous schedule.If extension in holidays will be made ,we will inform you.
