Notification of Winter Vacations in Punjab 2022-23 Notification

Winter Vacation in Punjab 2022-23 Notification has been issued today on 14th December 2022 by the Government of Punjab, School Education Department (SED). 1st January 2023 is on Sunday so it will be also a holiday. In total there will be a total of 9 winter holidays. Schools in Punjab will reopen on 2 January 2023.25th December is also a holiday for Quaid e Azam Day and Christmas celebrations. Students and teachers both will be on holiday during these winter vacations in Punjab.According to the this notification of Winter vacations, all the public and private schools in  all districts of Punjab will be closed on Saturday, 24th December 2022 and reopened on 2nd January 2023.

Notification of Winter Vacations in Punjab 2022-23 Notification

NO.SO (A-1) 1-31/2008 (P-1): Consequent upon approval of Competent Authority, it is hereby notified that winter vacations in all Public and Private Schools in province of Punjab will be observed with effect from 24.12.2022 to 31.12.2022. All Schools (Public and Private) shall re-open on Monday, 2nd January 2023 resuming a full / normal week for all classes.However, the restrictions regarding wearing of Face Masks within school premises shall remain intact. Congratulation to all teachers and students of Punjab for spend 9 holidays at home due to prevailing situation of cold weather including Fog throughout Punjab.
