Four-Day Holiday in Rawalpindi as District Administration Declares Local Holidays

In an official notification issued on Wednesday, the district administration of Rawalpindi announced local holidays for Thursday (tomorrow) and Friday. Combined with the weekend, this declaration extends the holiday period to four days in the city.

The notification is a welcome announcement for residents, who will now enjoy an extended break until Monday. It’s important to note that March 23rd has already been declared as a public holiday by the Cabinet Division earlier this year.

Despite the extended holiday, the notification clarified that the SSC-I Annual Examination of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi will not be affected. Students and educational institutions are advised to adhere to the examination schedule.

The four-day holiday period offers residents an opportunity to relax and enjoy quality time with family and friends. It also provides an opportunity for businesses to plan ahead for the extended break and ensure minimal disruption to their operations.

As residents gear up to enjoy the long weekend, authorities urge everyone to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday experience.
