The government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a circular on 02-09-2022 in connection with Teachers Illegal Practices for Transfer/ Posting. The details are as under:
Teachers Illegal Practices for Transfer/ Posting Circular by SED
It has been noticed that the teachers frequently applying on Information System (STS) for their transfer tend to conceal the fact that they have already availed the opportunity of transfer through SMS. Moreover, some of the teachers are exerting pressure on the Administrative Department to procure transfer orders by hook or crook.
The Competent Authority has taken a serious view of the above practice and desired that, henceforth, BII teact›ers/employees shall avoid adopting Illegal practices for posting/transfer. The only mode of postings/transfers is through Sus. The teachers/applicants shall De bound to enclose the necessary documentary evidence of all previous appticaaans made through SIS with their applications. If anyone is found adopting illegal means, disciplinary action will be initiated against the said teacher and this fact will also be reflected in the CR dossiers concerned employees.
